hi its me again corresponding through your web page. I did receive your phone call about you aquiring AOL. I am sorry I haven’t responded sooner, but things have been very crazy around here lately. Shaw is closing down for good as of July 31, so I am possibly a free agent for awhile after that. What am I going to do? I haven’t quite got there yet. This past week was nuts. I finally got a very large green bin from digby salvage and got rid of the enormous pile of junk in the yard, plus we tore down the garage and reassembled it over beside the work shoppe in a large disorderly pile to be burnt. Also I have aquired yet another animal. This time it is a dog, probably around 1-2 yrs old. I found him in the Home Hardware parking lot in digby with a face full of porcupine quills. People had been trying to catch this dog for two days. I walked over to him and he started off towards the Tim Hortons parking lot. I backed up to him with my hand down and he lay down in the middle of the drive through. So here I was sitting down with a dog in the middle of the Tim Hortons drive through with cars going around us… I picked him up and carried him over to the Vets down the road. 140 dollars later I had myself another dog. Rick is pretty cool with him. I was surprised how well that went!
So as you see life for me has been a little crazy lately. Rick will be home tomorrow so I will see if I can get him to show me how to use the chat line. Sorry about that!
So how are you? Have you figured anything more out about moving out west in the fall? I miss you already.
luv Tracy
hello out there.
we miss you.
I think your website is beautiful,
My two favorites are the ladders interwining to the moon
and the ladies arm with the two doves, what seems to be a planet & a message in a bottle. I love them.
Hopefully we will talk toyou soon
( i also like the one with you taking the photo, i think it is very pretty)
Love You Robin,
rebecca
Just thinking about you and missing your comments in the TESOL classes! Love your website–especially “Imminence.” We must have a patio repeat of our fun night at the pour house! xo
Hi Robin, I just wanted you to know that I still think of you often. More than you know. People do occasionally ask for you on site at Michael’s. It would be great to see you come back to let everyone know how you are. Why not just say Hi. I am enjoying your new work.

Hello Robin,
Your wepsite is very beutiful:) I think you are my best best friend because I had a lot of teacher, but you are very different teacher for me,so I’m studing very hard because you are my best friend in my dream maybe one day we can take a photo together.:)
I love you,
Merve
I love you too! Thank you for spending your time looking at my pictures! I would love to go for a long walk with you and take pictures!! I love studying with you in English class and learning from you! Thank you, Merve. See you in class on Tuesday
I’m glad you stopped by with hello. People visit this place often enough but few of them post a greeting. It’s nice to hear from you.
Life is good to me. I’m teaching English now at George Brown College and it is … o … amazing. I absolutely love my job. I teach two eight hour days … two classes at the moment (about 50 people all together) and am absolutely immersed in the creative work of lesson planning. Teaching a language is an intensely artistic endeavour so I get to use all those muscles I spent so many years training.
Jeremiah is very well … working at the mothership even! – in the online kids section.
I am thinking about heading to Korea to teach for a year so I can pay for a masters degree … my contracts run out at the college in December (sessional meat) … we shall see … in the meantime I’ll be trying to get a con-ed gig – teaching language through art.
I work hard. I laugh a lot. I sleep well. Life is good.
And you? I stop by the eleven/eleven from time to time and I did see Zeke’s birthday party photos. He is a beautiful boy. Life is good to you too, eh? Give my best regards to your lovely wife and a kiss for your precious son.
Maybe we can cross paths sometime this summer …? ~ r.bird
Dear Robin,
Among all beautiful water color painting I chose title 69.
The contrast of the blue color is magnificent. It reminds me a cold winter night driving out of town. The white color perfectly points the moon shining in the sky. But the only thing I am wonder about is the ladder which is seen in most of your works.
I’m glad you like the paintings, and it sounds to me like you looked at just about all of them. That ladder is also a bit of a mystery to me!
It’s a very long story that started with a wonderful little boy I used to look after. When his little brother was napping, Benjamin and I would draw together. We drew a lot of ladders and a lot of moons!
I kept thinking about those two things together and it wasn’t long before they started showing up in my paintings. A lot of people have had some interesting ideas about what it represents for them. What do you think?
Have a look around, read anything that seems worth reading … if something to say about it comes up in you, that something will say itself. There are no rules here, my friend, not even grammar rules!
